Alley garden

The alley has received the most attention so far, and for all of the details, please see Green Alley Project.

Fundamentally, we'd like to remove existing cement and put in its place a center path of cement and historic brick, bordered by permeable pavers (with green plant material growing in them), bordered by 3 and 5 foot garden beds. The gardens would consist of plants that are native to Michigan, and need to be part sun-part shade.

This project is being done in conjunction with our neighbors, and is currently under consideration for funding via Wayne State University.
