Phase I - Acquisition - purchasing the building and setting up the green garage legal entity. (COMPLETED)

Phase III - Historic, Green Box - creating an envelope that honors the building's history and addresses our need for a sustainable future.
- Restore the historic appearance to the exterior and interior
- Develop the green design, eco/passive design first

In the fall, we worked to develop a garden plan using all native plants, begin work on zero energy design, design work using Christopher Alexander's 'A Pattern Language,' and began work on the business plan. For more detail, see our fall blog posts.

This winter we have been continuing work on our zero energy design and have firmed up the business plan. New topics include: healthy environment, transportation and food (both in special projects), logo, and water. For more detail, see our winter blog posts.

Current Timeline
The current timeline for the various projects. The design work is close to completion. The presentations to the city take place in the spring. Things will get turned over to an architect in April, and construction should begin this summer. The alley project begins in April, and the green incubator refers to businesses beginning to get consultation.
