Maurice Cox, Detroit's new director of planning, visited the Green Garage on Friday for a public Q&A with writer-in-residence Keith Owens. Cox, who moved here from New Orleans, said that Mayor Duggan brought him to Detroit to be a "champion of neighborhoods." You can read a recap in this week's Model D.
